I’ve been creating, consuming and sharing content online since I launched my first zine on AOL back in 2000. And though my folks argue otherwise, I very much believe that the Internet is a real place of employment, and this is where I work and play.
These days, you can find me crafting content with surgical precision in-house at Instacart. Writing for four audiences with different needs and desires is my day-to-day across product copy, self-service help content, and internal communications.
My background in advertising, e-commerce and marketing build a solid foundation for me to stand on, to write for very different personalities. In past lives, I’ve gone to town on punchy taglines, podcast adverts, nugget boxes and enterprise-level websites in addition to distilled brand-defining copy.
As far as extracurriculars go, company culture is a passion of mine—I’ve been a Cultural Cheerleader, Intern Wrangler, Newsletter Expert, Social Media Mover and Shaker, Content Editor and Party Planning Committee Leader.
